Abstract

The study discusses about Otherisation and Marginalisation of Tribal in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan in context of Internal Colonialism theory in the book The Wandering Falcon. Research which has explored themes like patriarchy, trauma, identity and post-colonialism is scarce but there is little which treats the creation of tribal communities as the internal "Other," and their structuring out, as processes. This study tries to fill the void by focusing on interrelated factors of economic exploitation, cultural degradation, ideology and social exclusion which create unequal power relation and maintain it.This is a qualitative type of study, an analysis of texts taken from The Wandering Falcon and backed by appropriate literature. The analytical frameworks that would be investigated through the lens of Internal Colonialism Theory for analyzing the relationship between center and tribal communities that are in the periphery, such as the Gujjars and other marginalized communities.
